Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle
Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle, was saved by a defibrillator after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest during a Wiggles bushfire relief reunion concert in Sydney on 17 January 2020.
After collapsing backstage, an off-duty nurse and other bystanders immediately began CPR while retrieving the venue’s automated external defibrillator (AED). The AED was used to deliver life-saving shocks before paramedics arrived, dramatically increasing Greg’s chances of survival. Following emergency treatment and a full recovery, Greg became a passionate advocate for public access to defibrillators and CPR education, founding the Heart of the Nation initiative to help save more lives through greater AED availability.
